Who we are

Crux Consulting AUS Pty Ltd is the operator of this website, cruxconsulting.com.au. We are a business consultancy that provides strategic advice, process improvement, and system implementation services to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). We collect personal information to provide our consulting, coaching, scheduling, and related client services.

Ignite

When you use our Ignite coaching chat tool, we collect the personal information you provide in the signup form, including your name, email address, phone number, and optional company details. We also collect the contents of the messages you send during the chat session.

This data is used solely to facilitate your coaching session, maintain the context of the conversation, and allow us to follow up with you regarding next steps.

The chat is powered by a locally hosted Artificial Intelligence model running entirely on our own secure servers. The messages you submit are processed by this model to generate coaching responses, meaning your conversation data is never sent to the internet or shared with third-party AI companies. We store your chat transcripts securely in our database to allow you to resume sessions and to help us understand your coaching needs. We do not use your personal coaching data to train or fine-tune any AI models.

Cookies

Because our website does not allow public user registration or commenting, we do not set the standard persistent tracking cookies associated with user accounts. We may use temporary or essential cookies required for the basic functionality of our website and third-party integrations (such as our scheduling tool, Cal.com).

Embedded content from other websites

Articles or pages on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, scheduling widgets). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content.

Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. However, we do share data with trusted third-party service providers necessary to operate our website and services. These include:

  • Cal.com: We use Cal.com to manage our calendar and scheduling. When you book an appointment with us, the information you provide (such as your name, email, and meeting notes) is processed by Cal.com. You can read their privacy policy at cal.com/privacy.
  • n8n: We use n8n as a secure backend automation tool to route your chat messages from our website directly to our self-hosted AI model and secure database. This internal routing ensures your data remains within our controlled infrastructure.

How long we retain your data

For users who interact with our Ignite chat tool or book appointments, we retain your contact details and chat transcripts securely in our database. We keep this data to provide continuity if you wish to follow up on your coaching session or engage our services in the future. However, we reserve the right to routinely clear inactive chat sessions from our systems at our discretion. You may request the deletion of this data at any time.

What rights you have over your data

If you have used our Ignite chat tool or booked a session, you may request that we delete the personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are required to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. To submit a deletion request or ask questions about this policy, please contact us at admin@cruxconsulting.com.au.

Security of your data

We take the security of your personal data seriously. Data transmitted between your browser and our website, as well as between our website and our backend tools (like n8n and Cal.com), is encrypted using standard HTTPS/TLS protocols. We also employ server-side security measures to protect our database against unauthorized access. However, no internet transmission is entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
